Teams combining device, email, phone, IP and transaction context and maintaining configurable fraud rules.
How the product works
SEON’s Fraud API brings together digital footprint and device information with scoring and decisioning. The scoring engine evaluates rules and models, with configured outcomes such as approval, review or decline. Standalone enrichment and a full fraud decision are distinct integration choices.
From evidence to a decision
This approach fits a risk team that wants to control the logic around incoming data. Define which events enter the Fraud API, which labels return after an investigation, and who reviews rule changes. A decisioning console becomes more useful when ownership of its policies is explicit.
What to confirm before buying
The Starter plan has a defined check allowance, user count and rule allowance. Case management, AML and other modules have their own packaging. A large advertised signal count does not establish that every signal is collected in a particular request.
A useful first pilot
Use real-shaped test requests and document the enabled modules. Compare returned rules, fraud scores and transaction states. Include missing inputs and delayed device collection, then verify that the review process can explain and reverse an incorrect outcome.
